Good News And Bad News

The good news is that a doctor -without an X-ray- told me that it was unlikely that I could have a hairline crack in any bones.

The bad news is that this still leaves me with inflamed tendons, etc, in my feet that don't seem inclined to heal.

I'm really, really, tired of not running. I feel like crap, frankly.

But what can I do.

Heal feet! Heal!

Going 80/10/10 raw vegan gives us tremendous energy, causes our aerobic capacity and muscular recovery to improve seemingly overnight, and as a result can make us a little too confident with our training. I think Olympic coaches don't allow their athletes to increase activity by more than something like 10% a week, and man does it suck to find out why first-hand! I had something similar happen when I first tried to build strength for the one-arm pullup, though that was pre-raw. I couldn't do any significant pulling movements for a few months.

When you can get back on the road, just think how much wiser you'll be and how much better you'll perform as a result. Hope you have a speedy recovery!
